I’m not sure about where you are, but there were lots of gun shots sound in our neighborhood on New Year’s Eve…  I don’t know if I can go with the way to cerebrate, but happy 2010 indeed.

I usually do not like making resolutions, but I think I want to this year.

1. Pack lunch boxes as often as I can for both Jon and I – I got him a cute lunch box for Christmas
2. Go for good walks more often – I think I have been way too lazy since I became pregnant
3. Give myself some good yoga sessions – same as above
4. Go through and sort what we have, and donate/give away what we do not need – more space necessary for the baby’s arrival
5. Be thankful

I am looking forward to some obvious events year, but more than anything I’d like to have our baby arrive safely and healthily.  And I can’t wait to see the happy faces that surround her.  Yes, it’s a girl!

Wishing you very happy year 2010.

It has been a while since last post and much has happened.

The holiday season is more special this year as we have a sweet litte addition to our family on its way!  I am 5 months pregnant and  it has been very sweet experience so far.  We are both healthy and growing. Very soon I will have to start looking for roomier-waisted pairs of pants as the belly is expanding rapidly.

Everyday I realize that there are things that I cannot do like I used to while I’m carrying this little precious cargo.  Even though I complain about that sometimes, I am feeling something very special and yet very natural that comes from deep inside.  It is such a super duty that I get to take care of, and all the attention that I have to pay to my body makes me realize that it is indeed such a special cargo that I am carrying and growing inside.

My mom was right.  It is a very beautiful, happy and serious duty to bring the next bright generation.  I’m a part of it now.  And I am very thankful for the super supportive and understanding folks around me.  I just know that Jonny is going to be a wonderful daddy.

More to come…

Hello there.

I wonder what the weather is like where you are.  It is full on summer here in Winston Salem.  After a couple of weeks of heavy clutter and all things that come with moving, we are seriously ready to chill out at our new home.  Since it’s not unpacked all the way to show off,  I introduce this baby mantis who struck a nice pose for me.

I know it’s not in focus.  But hey.

Hope you have a wonderful Father’s Day weekend.

Feels like it has been forever since I my last post, but there have been some major changes in the air.

First, I got a driver license (finally!) Then I turned big three-o. We had decided that it was time to move out of the house we have been staying for the last 2 years, and finally found a nice spot near where I work. I am so excited about this new place!

I have to take a break from jewelry makin’ for a while as I will be busy packing/moving from the old home and settling in the new one. Please shoot me an email if you have any question / request for my jewelry.

I hope you have a nice Memorial Day weekend (if you are in US)!
