Look at these beautiful beads! They are some of my score from the bead show in Asheville. Somehow I managed to get different shades of blues… You’ll get to see the new jewels using those pretties soon.
And this is one of my favorite stones out there, labradorite. This stone had a super flash in it and I’m in love with it. I wonder if I can manage to let go once it’s a part of a necklace…
This is one of my new creations for the party we are having next Sunday. I love the way this particular piece turned out. See how sparkling these agate beads are on the surface. Like candies.

I kinda like making those oriental fusion pieces. Well, I call them so anyway. The new line of my jewels have simple style to them and they add more characters to my whole collection, and I like that.

It was so pretty autumn day today. We went for a long walk and soaked up some sunshine. My hubby took me to this secret tunnel by a creek, and I felt like I was 10-year-old again. I hope we can do that again pretty soon.

I hope all is well.

Peace.

Ah.
I love this weather. I love the way the air smells in autumn.
The weather cooled down a lot over the past few days, and inside of our house is colder than outside. But I don’t care. I love autumn.

We went to Asheville the other day, and boy it was cold there. I thought it was going to snow. I went to a wholesale bead show there, and I scored some beautiful beads. I’ll have to post the pics later… It was very exciting, and I was a serious bead hunter for over 5 hours.

It’s nice and hot soup season again. I gotta make some creamy potato soup soon. I miss my mom’s Tonjiru… I guess I miss all the good food from Japan.
What is your favorite soup?

Over and out.

These are little jewelry cases/ coin purse/ business card holder that I have been working on. Very simple, but I thought they’ll be good addition to my jewelry for the jewelry party on Nov. 6th. I kinda don’t like the name jewelry party. I have to come up with better way to call it.

There was this bead art show at the gallery, and I was a cashier/greeter.
While I was waiting for guests to come in, I was taking bunch of funny face pictures of myself. I don’t think you are ready for the funniest one, so here it is, the mild one.

This is Nini, the sweetest greeting dog at Blessings. She likes to stay at the doorway like that to greet everyone. She gave me this look, and I had to take picture of that. Sweet thing.

This past week has been very busy around the gallery.
We had a show that included bunch of pretty things. My boss came up with great ideas of decorating the space, and it was super fun to be around the place while they did their magics. I’m so happy that I’m working there now.

So how is the weather where you are?
It seems like autumn is finally kicking in here in Winston.
I know it’s beautiful in Chino, where I grew up. Word up everyone from there.

Happy autumn days to all!

Hello all.
I wish I could update my blog every night. Our computer has only dial-up connection, and it’s nowhere near possible to access this blog from home… I’m really getting ready to purchase my own computer so I can do so many things I want to FROM home.
Meanwhile I’ve been very busy helping my hubby and his brother with their project and planning & preparing for this jewelry party coming up in Nov. My friend Amanda is generously hosting this event, and I’m super excited about it.

Oh. I’m so ready for some sunshine. It’s been too damp and dark…

Hope it’s nice where you are.
