Hello there!
I thought I’d never have a chance to update my blog while on vacation, but I was wrong… I am staying at my best friend’s house, and she has a much-faster-connection than my folks’ computer… Unfortunately I forgot to take the drive for the memory card for my digital camera to her house, so I can’t upload any images right now.
Anyway, I have been enjoying the trip very much so far, mainly hanging out with my family. I got to see my friend’s baby and got to hang out with my cousins. I am hoping to get to see more friends before I come back to the US, and do some shopping… I have been missing you all in the states, and I guess it’s something I have to deal for the rest of my life, missing one side while I’m on the other side of the grove. I am missing my hubby a lot, and I miss the family in the states. But I’ll try my best to document the trip so I can share it with you all very soon.
The weather here has been crazy, almost like winter for a while, but it can get kinda warm every other day. Oh, and I am getting my teeth fixed while I’m here. That’s right. I can’t stand paying through my nose to get that dome in the states, so I’m doing it now. I know it’s not that romantic, but hey. I’m thankful for the price and quickness of the dentist here. Oh yes.
I hope it’s getting close to spring where you are.
And I hope to get this updated again with the images while I’m here…
It has been like spring around here, and this is a shot right outside where I work. There are several antique shops down the street, and it looks very sweet and welcoming on a day like this.
There aren’t really new images to share, but here a re couple of necklaces that I like making lately… quite simple and fun.

Alright. This might be the last post before I leave to Japan. If so, please check back sometime because I might be able to update my blog from my parents house.
I hope you all have a great weekend!
things to bring back from Japan
- lots of cheap but cute stationeries (mainly from 100yen shops)
- lots of GOOD candies (plum/pineapple/soda/white grape)
- lots of GOOD pens (from 100yen shops, but signos kick ass)
- good bottles of sake
- kinoko & tarako pasta sauce
- lots and lots of menthol chap sticks (they do it right… I’m an addict)
- cute pair of shoes
- some books
- maybe some fabric? we’ll see.
Now I’m so excited. Unfortunately I didn’t get to lose weight at all, so I guess I will have some harsh comments from my family… They love me, though… Anyway, I hope it will be warm enough for me to walk around outside and take a bunch of photos in my hometown. I might see some snow if I’m not careful.
I just ordered this and this from here . Oh, I just love those designs. I had been eying on them for a while, and I finally made the move yesterday. I can’t wait to get them!
I hope this nice weather will last long.
I love spring, and I want it to stay here as long as it can.
