It has been a great weekend so far.
We slept in a little this morning, which is what I look forward to all week. The weather is just gorgeous, and it really inspires me to create some pretty things. I have been working on some smaller & sweeter earrings for those who like less on their ears without missing out on the fun. The images will arrive soon.
We stopped by Goodwill on the way back from our lunch, and scored some cute stuff. I could have stayed a lot longer, but still enjoyed the small score.

It was such a productive Saturday.
Finally cleaned up my studio so that I can work more smoothly in it, made some jewelry and got to make this carrot-cake-turned-into-cupcakes. This photo is before it’s topped with cream cheese frosting. Yes, I noticed that the surface kinda looks not so great. I’m waiting for them to cool right now, so I can frost them.
My friend Laura’s going to set up a shop at The Handmade Market in Raleigh, and what she and her boyfriend Aaron are up to is really great. Please go check out her blog to see what I’m talking about…! I hope they will do wonderfully.
Back to my bench I go.
