Hello there.
In some parts of the globe it’s already 2008, but I wanted to thank you for checking in today and wish you a safe and happy new year!
It has been a whirlwind throughout the year 2007 for me, and I have to say that I’m glad 2007 is almost over. I changed job and experienced some tough times here and there. But I think I got to toughen up and grow a little bit with all the things I experienced. I met some wonderful people online and in real life, and I got to renew my website. I think a lot of things I went through this year taught me how to balance what I want to do and what I can do. I’m ready for 2008 and I hope I can grow a lot as a person.
I will keep you updated with my occasional doodling, make announcements for each event I’ll join and some pretty things I see & capture on my camera here at Kano Note. I hope your year 2008 will be filled with happiness and excitement!
Yoi otoshi wo!
It was a wonderful xmas for me.
I spell it xmas since I’m not a Christian , but I love the whole idea of family gathering and having warm conversations with lots of laughs and smiles. This winter has been a very mild one in Winston, but it’s not the temperature I’m talking about. I am very thankful that I have a wonderful extended family now, and they are so warm and sweet that they make me feel part of them.
One of the gifts I received (hint: it’s a size of matchbook and it clips onto my shirt and plays hours of music while I clean house/do laundries/make jewelry etc… ) has been put in good use already, and thanks to that item I have been taking care of piles of things around the house that I have been neglecting last 2 months this morning (!)
Ok. I just wanted to say hello. I hope you had a wonderful xmas yourself.
Catch you later!

We call December “Shiwasu” in Japan. It is finally getting to feel like it here in Winston.
Another HUGE thanks go to all who picked up KanoKano jewelry at the web shop sale! The idea of few-day-sale came up out of the blue, but it ended up wonderfully because I got to express my thanks to everyone for supporting KanoKano AND it helped me make room for next year’s new inventory. It has been a very busy month and a half as far as KanoKano adventures go, and all that was not possible without everyone’s support! Every sweet comment warms my heart, and I wanted to express my sincere appreciation to all. The shop will be back with lots of new pieces early next year.
Whatever you are celebrating, I hope you have safe and wonderful holidays.

Hello there!
Between now and Monday, December 17th, I am going to have a BIG sale at my shop! Everything is a whopping 50% off, but you have to hurry…! The code is holidays07.
After the sale is over, I will close the shop until early next year.
I hope you all find something for you and your loved ones!
Be back shortly…
