Here they are…

I present you with a few pieces from the first batch of KanoKano for 2008!

I have been enjoying the experiments on new techniques, and that includes heavy hammer usage. Never knew that hammering an earwire in one good blow & making it nice and flat in the way I want to could be so satisfying…

Another week went by, and I have been working on something exciting over a few weeks now. I hope I can share it with you very soon.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

I went to join yoga class at werehouse today, and it was very nice and relaxing!    Julien mentioned it in her post and I had to check it out.   Audra, the instructor, was very helpful and fun to take a class from.  I’d definitely go back next week and get my yoga on.  I try to do it at home, but I find it  easier to have someone lead me so I won’t have to remember what to do next…

It has been snowing a bit , but I don’t think it’s cold enough for it to stick.   I wonder how much more to come.  I love it when it’s snowing outside when I get ready for bed and realize how quiet it can be.  When I was growing up I used to open the window and listen to the silence as I laid on my back and looked up in the sky from my room.  I wonder if it’s snowing in my hometown now…

Whatever the weather is like where you are, I hope you have nice rest of the weekend!

Hello there.

It’s already 2nd week of January, and this is my first post this year.

I have been busy wrapping my earwires away since the last part of last year, and now I have some crazy (in a good way) looking earwires waiting to be decorated with sweet beads.  I’m even thinking about going plain with some designs.  Please check back often to see what kind of new pieces I am making for the new seasons!
