It is almost June.

The temperature is rising everyday, but I have to say that we had such a long spring this year. I missed a month of it between April & May, but the spring was still here even after I got back from Japan. It definitely helped us get out of the house and do things outside.  Now I’m getting ready to put some fertilizer in the dirt for my first garden.

I heard from my dad yesterday and he told me about the time he went to see his parents in law (my mom’s parents & my grandparents) the other day.  I had sent my grandparents a letter and some photos from the time when my whole family visited them earlier this month.  My dad told me that that letter and photos made them so happy and my grandpa’s smile was just priceless.  That made me teary all of the sudden, and I realized how important it is that they are happy.  They have been having physical difficulties lately, and I felt helpless to them half way across the world.  At least I thought so.  But now I know what to do.  Now I have this sweet camera that my dad gave me for my 29th birthday, so I take more photos and print them out more often so they can accompany the letter I’m going to send them.  I am truly thankful to have such a rooted-to-the-earth, proud, supportive and sweet family.  I wouldn’t have made this far without their love and support.  So thank you guys very much, from the bottom of my heart.

I felt so thankful today, and just wanted to write that down.

So.

It was such a sweet trip. I had plenty of time to hang out with my family and friends, the weather was great for the most of the part, ate wonderful food and had some exposure on my work. I have to thank everyone who made my trip that way in the most sincere way. Thank you! I know I ought to write it in Japanese… please excuse me since my computer won’t let me.

I have one more suitcase to unpack, but after that I’m trying to get back in the active mode. Want to go for many sets of walk with my hubby, and I want to start eating healthier. I want to start practicing yoga more regularly and start meditating. But I know how I am, so we’ll see how things turn out…

I want to show you what the event in Shinjuku looked like, and the images are being reviewed as you read this. Check back in a few days and I hope the post will be ready!
